Hello, I'm new here and wish I had found this forum sooner, so much information. About me, I have been tying since my teens and up until 9 years ago I lived and fished in the Catskill region of New York, but now I am a midwest fly fisher. I own a tackle shop in Charleston, IL which caters mostly to bass and other warm water species, though I do carry a selection of fly fishing and tying supplies. I started out with an inexpensive kit vise which quickly wore out and went to a Thompson A. I now use a Griffin Odyssey, it works OK but I'm not really happy with it and am looking for another upgrade.
