resize your photos to 15'' before posting them and perhaps use a light so we will be better able to tell you whats up with your flies but as I can tell, sir you just need to keep tying and your practice will overcome the visual "flaws" Your a natural man keep up the good work

Yes sir wonderful ties and nice extras they will be abused this spring I think i will be posting pictures of the flies as they show up

yep grey or light blue will give a much better back drop to your flies You do have a great box ...... if you feel your not getting the color you want get a bar florescent (white or natural, the blue looking one,) and hang that to the back of your box to ad a back light to the flies. with just front and side lighting you will get some color wash looks like that Olympus SP-550 UZ has a real close range to it as well. this is where you can find those specs http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Olym...oly_sp550uz.asp so shoot close or keep about a foot away and use your zoom to make it look bigger. Use the manual focus!! with your box you dont really need to worry about ISO or your apature settings your camera will take care of that for you as long as you use your box As for the Cyber shot.. its a good point and shoot camera i would use an olympus digital anyday before i used that if you need any extra help PM me and i'll see what i can do

Hey thanks for all the great reviews! riffle- i would love to use blue floss however i dont have any i have red and tobacco that i use for weaving stones.. try using the floss for that. i have that acetate floss so if you hit it with a coat of acetone it hardens up and gets glossy

So without internet at my house anymore, I've been having fun tying up variants and new things this first one is the Hare&Squirrel, i feel the the squirrel gives a better buggy-ness than just hares ear This is a big pheasant tail nymph! i wanted to try out a more "salmon/clasical" type fly And this one been rocking brookies sense i first tied it about a year ago, I have no idea if anyone else has done this but IT WORKS
