Lance-Forget all the politics of it,just have fun naming them. I named one after a customer that was the first to try it out,his brother came back the next day and said "that dumb ass tore it up" named it "D.A.Caddis". My best seller I named it "Drymerger" because I felt it was a cross between a dry and a emerger.

Your solution= Propeller blades. they are made in 4 sizes. Flatten out twist in blade.Lay on hook so one blade sticks out past eye,tie to hook. bend as desired. tie pattern over.

Maybe if you tie on 6/0 hook....J/k I don't know of any but you can make beards or do a dubbing rope to make soft hackle.

Hareline has deer hair # DD-383 should be perfect for him. any fly shop should be able to get it for you.

Biots come from the leading edge of a wing feather. there are a lot of uses for Turkey feathers. shell backs on nymphs,wings for hoppers,married wings.

Tie a bead head hare's ear in brown or Black,up the size to a 6 or 8... Walla! Stone!

I just tied one with tan scud back,I don't know but what I like it better.
