  1. Flooding streams area a waste of time, fish aren't in the feeding mood, they're usually holed up behind an obstruction staying safe. Brown trout (mature ones) like larger offerings such as minnow imitations, crawfish, leeches and etc. Keep your fly along the bottom when possible.
  2. I've been using a Traveler for many years and its a great vice. I think you'll be really happy with one. They're a great value from a great company.
  3. Small bright colored streamers, 10s and 12s. Early season fish aren't too selective. What size streams are you fishing?
  4. I've been using a beadhead version for the past ten years or so and it catches alot of fish. Good looking fly B.!
  5. B, They'll work just fine especially early and late in the day when small midges tend to hatch.
  6. Wish I could be there. The Ozarks were home water.
  7. RB gave good advice on contacting the local shops. Ask specifically about the rivers you'll be fishing and time of year. Changes can happen fast out here depending on time of year.
  8. Beads 1/3, non bead 2/3. Presentation purposes mainly
  9. Excellent, great view!
  10. Mid gills are one of those items when "less is more."
