  4. I prefer the wieghted fly since it should put the fly in front of the fish before the line. A wgt'd line will also splash down and drag the fly under.

    Glad to see you are getting around a bit now. Now don't forget that the Dr.'s will tell you to soak a sore spot sot that might work in your favor for getting back to the river.

Materials: Hook: TMC 2312 or TMC 200R Size 18-10 Thread: 8/0 black Body: black Floss or thread Collar: Peacock Herl Rib: Fine silver wire Head: White plastic or glass bead Tying Instructions: This is a very simple yet effective chironomid pupa pattern. 1) Slide a white plastic (glass) bead on to the hook before placing in the vice 2) black Floss or thread and silver wire where the body of the fly should begin. 3)Wrap black Floss or thread forward, up to the white bead, then secure with thread, and trim. 4) Wrap silver wire over body, try to keep segmentation between wraps even. 5) Secure wire behind bead with thread. *6) tie in peacock herl wrap 2-3 times trim, whip finish, and head cement. * Option * Coat fly with Hard as Nails Swap beads and colors as desired
