  2. I like this one. Will tie some up in smaller sizes using turkey body feathers. Rick

  4. Goldie Jr. tail and collar are flash material folded over several times and then folded over thread. Glass bee head Body flash folded over and palmered.
  5. No Ostrich. It is peacock sword, but in blanching it some of it appears to look like ostrich. Rick

  14. You will get as many suggestions as there are people. There are many flies that work. I use many that other folks don't used. Rick
  15. For single wire I usually helicopter it off. Do 5 wraps of thread and the when the wire is off take 3 wraps off. For dubbing brushes I use a wire cutter as it is two strands of wire twisted. Rick
  16. I haver not tied on wings for a long time. Still have caught some fish. With Poopdeck, presentation is more important. Rick

  18. This came up just before I started a new spool of thread. So I decided to count the number of flies. All on size 10 hooks. Girdle bug variations, small bugger and "only" fly 335 flies. It was a spool of Danville's 210 Denier , 100 yard flat waxed nylon. For the buggers made 87 flies with a new card of chenille. Rickk
  19. After the plants get started I transfer them to peat pots and when it is warm set them outdoors to help them get bulker. Rick

  21. What varieties of tomatoes? I do barred boar, carbon, pineapple, solar flare, pork chop, and a black cherry. Rick
  22. Started pepper, leek and tomato plants yesterday. Means I can play in the dirt later. Rick
