I have neoprene waders with boot all in one..the boot has felt bottoms and I need to know how I can get the felt off..effective 1 Mar 2012 Missouri trout parks will no longer allow shoes with felt on them in the streams..any suggestions appreciated.

Welcome aboard!
If you have a local fly club, I would recommend that you first check with them to see if they offer fly tying courses. Many do. I have been tying for 40+ years, and am self taught simply because I did not have anyone to get me started. You would not believe the anguish, disgust, frustration and 'depression' I would have been spared if I had had someone to teach me. Had it not been for my youthful exuberance, and stubbornness (my heritage), I would have never succeeded.
GOOD LUCK!
Thanks for the input..think I'll head for the class room

I am hoping I can learn to put some flys together from here and the internet ... Would going to a local fly shop and take a tying course be the best way to get started ?
