  3. Hi all, long time since I 've posted anything. anyways was out at the Ganaraska in Ontario last weekend. had my 15yr old daughter on the river with me, she didn't hook anything but never gave up. looking forward to the trout run. after not being there in over ten years, actually will be there twice this year. My daughter is really looking forward to it and I think she would have a better chance with some trout than the Salmon. Ontario boys am I right with thinking the steelhead run is the third to last week of October, sorry don't remmeber, like I said it's been a long time. be nice if someone could keep me informed.here's a pic of one of the salmon I picked up.
  4. This all sounds great, sometimes it's not only the things like spams and such, that people don't go on. sometime people life style change, kids get older and know time is left for the good life. I have been a long time member but don"t post very often, I still come on but don't often sign in, how many other members or old members still come on without signing in. good luck to the new moderator and am awaiting the new work on the sites. good luck to you guys. As always good work to Steve and Will. Rod Earl
  5. Another great build, always fun looking at your work. I'm sure the retiree will be very pleased. again great work. Rod earl
  6. I'm 50/50 mainly for where I have to fish, love to fly fish but can"t always do it, so I always have my spinning gear, which I also use with flies.
  7. Great work Steve, My wife needs help at the school crafts , I"ll tell her to just call you. just kidding, nice work as always. Rod Earl
  8. little late but I hope you had a great day. and never mine Paul you are only as old as you fill. anyway Syeve happy b.day
  9. Still wondering what a vacation is??, have a good trip and hope the weather is on your side.
  10. I agree with you Will, read April stories on the new blog site. nice stories and some very nice pics.
  11. I love steams and rivers, but around here I mostly have the hydro dams, so I guess I get both at the same time. never know what you might catch.
  12. know how to swim, have been on Lake Ontario with 10ft waves, but they two things besides anything ever happening to my kids. are fire and water because I know the danger of both, that scares me the most. if you know the dangers and are scared of them, then you are in most cases more aware of what you are doing and whats going on around you. Just my two cents
  13. great topic, got a lot of people on board, me I'm just a boring supervisor in a manufacturing company for windows and stuff. you know stuff like blinds, verticals stuff like that.
  14. happy new years to all, and Steve my 4yr old can kick my butt at ps2 games. not my cup of tea. giveme an old pinball machine and I'll be happy.
