  1. Qballs

    New Vise

I just ordered a stonfo transformer for my upstairs tying station. I’m excited to try it out when it arrives
  2. Never have but there’s got to be some cool things you could do with those!
  3. Started tying yesterday. Should have them done and in the mail by the end of the week. For the liquid lace, I just took some vegetable oil, stuck one end in, and sucked on it until it was full. Looks good, I will be using it more in the future.
  4. I would like in if there is still room! I think I actually have everything downstairs.
  5. Nice little setup! My mobile setup had to come down a few years ago when the cat started in on the feathers I would leave out. She doesn't like the room I use now, but I miss the portability.
  6. Those look fantastic! Any thoughts of a Step by Step tutorial?
  7. I think capes in the colors you want are better than colors you don't. I use a ton of grizzly and brown hackle, a little bit of blue dun, a little bit of black. Haven't found myself too wanting, but will probably pick up a cream cape soon. What patterns are you looking to tie?
  8. Just picked up a NorVise myself. I can't believe I waited this long to get one. Best purchase I've made since my wife's wedding ring!
  9. Very nice!! Extremely organized, I love the desk!
  10. Awesome looking stuff! Besides the reel, is there any names on any of it?
  11. Awesome job, That weave takes some time.
  12. I use an old briefcase of mine. The folder areas are great for hackles or other flat material. The bottom holds my vise, spools of thread, hook boxes, etc. The business card and pen area holds my scissors, bodkin, etc. Not fancy, but does the job nicely, and was essentially free as it was sitting in the garage sale pile before I rediscovered it!
  13. Nice!! I love those paddles!
  14. I just received my first order of 500+ hooks from Allen Fly co, plus some cones and beads. I must say I am impressed with the quality, price, and service. Took hooks out of just about every package, checked them for defects and sharpness, 100% were perfect. Just waiting for my fly boxes, they were back ordered. Final test will be against the fish this weekend! I see no reason why I won't be ordering more! And maybe a deal of the week or two!
