  2. Wow, didn't expect the flies this quick! Great work everyone. Some real quality flies in this bunch. :headbang: Terrific job running the swap Damian. Looking forward to seeing the display. :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: -Bamboo
  3. For me it's anything that requires trimming deer hair. Things like muddler minnows, tarantulas, etc. I'd sooner just buy. -Bamboo
  4. Got my flies in today. Definitely some keepers in this bunch. Nice job everyone. :headbang: FC - Where'd you get the red hooks? dj - can't tell if I got one of yours, got a loop wing emerger that's not toe-tagged and a wd-40 without a tiers name. Sounds like you won the lottery - free entry into the next swap! :hyst: Thanks for hosting OLB! -Bamboo
  5. Just sent mine out (Ausable Wulffs). Should see them next week some time. -Bamboo
  6. CapeB- My flies are ready. If you could PM your addy, I'll get them off. -Bamboo
  7. I use the barbell eyes attached with thread and zap-a-gap. Zap-a-gap to bind the bunny strips and you're all set. -Bamboo

  9. Nice streamers everyone! Can't wait for spring to put these to use. Thanks FC - great job. -Bamboo
  10. I tied on a Regal for about 15 years before switching to a true rotary. Great vises. Easy to use, great hook holding ability and the new ownership has re-energized the company. -Bamboo
  11. Phew! Beginning to think I needed to tie up another batch. -Bamboo

Thomas Ames wil be our featured speaker and dinner and a raffle will be part of the evening. For current information, please see www.millersrivertu.org. Thanks, Pat

  18. Regal's are great vises. I used one with the midge jaws for trout flies for about 17 years. I switched because I wanted to try true rotary but the Regal has been used by a friend getting started for the past 2 years. -Bamboo
  19. FC- Put my flies in the mail this morning. You should see them this week. -Bamboo
