  1. Gamakatsu hooks are great for corrosion resistance as far as salt flies go, sharp as hell too. Otherwise for fresh water whatever is on sale... I have a tendency to scatter my flies up in the trees anyways! dont wanna waist $$$ on the bass flies, but I will def. drop the dough when I try and tie toads and EP patterns for snook and tarpon.
  2. I have the Renzetti Presentation 2000. Its really slick, the cam system and complete adjustable neck really makes it easy to access all sides of the fly. Would defiantly recommend it to anyone. I have been trying bass, pike, and salt flies so far. It works well with these larges flies and longer materials.... so far so good
  3. Hey guys, just wanted to say hello. The forum looks great. Just started tying this past fall. Its addicting! Primarily fish for smallmouth, pike, and trout in Northern IN, IL and Southern WI. I'm sure the forum will be a great tool for me to learn from. I will be sure to post any creations- have a good one guys!
