  2. Andy,

This is the same fly that has caught 90% of my fish this year...not an original pattern, just a variation on several.

Still have your addy from your swap, will see what the big bend fish think

  3. My brother in law, Roy, named my favorite fly today...The Money Maker.

    The Fly...The fish...The legend :drunk:

Bro in law with a fine Crooked Island Bone Fish

A visit from Yertal the Turtle

Most fun I've had in a long time :kicking:

  4. Had a great day on the water :yahoo: Wife's brother came down for a visit, hit the water for a short trip just to check water and catch a sunset.

Pictures aren't the best do better next time ;)

    Same fly as before

    Great results...

  5. You have gotta love the tournaments, we don't have any around here any more :yahoo: However, we still have plenty of inconsiderate anglers that think nothing of jumping in on your drift or burning through the area you took your time poling to. I just try and let it go, yelling just makes it worse.

I Have been in Indianapolis this last week at the IAFC Fire Conference, so Last weekend was my last time out...had been bragging about the killer days to some friends from Wyoming who were coming down for business, sure enough...we went to St Joe Bay and proceeded to get our skunk on  Still had a great time though, water was nice and the scenery was a beautiful as ever.

Have to work in the morning, will try to get out in the afternoon. Will update "a day on the bay" if we catch anything.

  6. Some great lookin trout, Dave. Love the fly, what are you using for the legs?

Clear silly legs with fire orange tips.

Went for two hours after work today...six fish hung, four to the boat. Same Fly, will be making some more of those tonight.
