We have a family cabin, 10 miles from his old shop. Spent much time with him! He was in his 80s and had every you could imagine in that shop. He invented one of the first rotary vices, wish I had a pic. This was the first pattern he introduced to me.

Yes Steve, love my new 11 ft. It will be put to the test in a couple weeks. Headed to Erie for project healing waters event, then on to New York where it hopefully gets a good work out. Thank you for all the added detail! -
Deer hair turtles inspired by Pat Cohen. Not quite tuned in , maybe the top two will be better. Fun to tie but the trimming is challenging
