I have two Stonfo Elite bobbins, drag is even better than in Rite, imo. I can recommend both Stonfo is very well made and sturdy, drag adjustment is smooth without any clicks unlike Rite.

Perhaps OP ment a version for long fibre dubbing brush? If so, the basic construction is similar, but you have to have more room for spinning, i.e. the spinning must be done in air, without the supporting base.

A little talk has been done in our biggest fly fishing forum, but we mainly follow our competitors ATM More or less discussion will definitely arise after the last day of tournament.

We discussed about the matter here in Finland too and it really is a shame Money talks, money talks..

Money talks and bullsh*t walks, has always been like that and will probably be like that until the end of times.

Hope, speed and wax - those are my tools handling CDC. I never ever split the thread, always using dubbing loop and magic tool (or bulldog grip). Just rinse & repeat, success might be around the next corner!

I did a search behalf a friend regarding Anvil Atlas earlier this year, and it seems that the vise manufacturing is not under the Anvil brand anymore. Vises seem to be the same, just different marketing name.

Great flies guys, keep 'em coming! Two wets inspired by Davie McPhail and few Goat's Toes.

I think that if you put the weight in the front part, it won't be an issue at all. Not sure though -

Airflo makes one bit bigger, dunno if it's large enough: http://www.airflofishing.com/airflo-accessories-fly-boxes-airflo-fly-box.cfm I bought one and I liked it..eh The Airflo competitor fly box is a follow on from the extremely successful Aqua-tec boxes. The competitor box is Airflos answer to all competition and boat anglers problems when it comes to fly storage. Ideal for stacking in the bottom of the tackle box or in side pockets of a fishing tackle bag, the 28 x 21 x 6.5cm design will fit in with everyone's tackle. With a capacity of over 1000 flies and an impact resistant, waterproof design these boxes will keep each hackle or wing in perfect condition.

Loon and supah glue get together nicely. -
In America, everything is bigger. Now the things are getting really Fugly.. Brassie Packer Small & Medium and Fugly Packer Jr. in family portrait.
-
About those nylons. Those with markings "50 YDS + letter". I have one orange and it is hands down the best material for Partridge & Orange fly, IMO. Try making bodies for soft hackles. Just my 2cents
-
Fugly Packer Jr. arrived today. Oh boy what a packer Have to say it is build to last and the finger guards are nice to have. For small flies I have to get that smallest Brassie though.
