  1. Thanks Eaglerapids, I appreciate your kind words. You showed us couple'o nice ties, and your pictures are also very easy to look upon.
  2. Thanks Chef! I have been buying all the affordable bronze mallard I have seen for some time now, gotten all four packages.. Good stuff is hard to find
  3. I just got The Lost World of Mr. Hardy into my hands. Not necessarily a fly fishing video, but a nice peek into the history nonetheless.
  4. Piker20, lol I'm so uncertain with these modern flies nowadays -I usually just feed my garbage can with those.. Even the earlier love, the tube flies, now hate me.
  5. Some new ties and tries. One classic wet and two articulated ones.
  6. Chef, that trout fin wing is very nice. If you want any better wing, you have to be very picky with the material. Fish don't care, its just the tier. Only fault I see is the b&w portion being a bit shorter than orange and we are talking only 1mm here. Keep up good work.
  7. Nice to hear that you got a tool that you like. Wish you many happy years and thousands of ties with it
  8. I'm using ceramic vs. metal 80/20%.
  9. Very nice, that head will attract for sure. Aww, I like those!
  10. Thanks for all the comments! There's an excellent book regarding these Carrie Stevens originated flies from Graydon Hilyard (Carrie Stevens: Maker of Rangeley Favorite Trout and Salmon Flies). Beware searching the Internet with her name only, remember to add "streamers" after her name or your better half will beat you Some short history: http://globalflyfisher.com/streamers/raske/stevens/stevpage.htm This site focuses on classic and modern classic streamers: http://streamers365.com/
  11. That's one thing above all others after God himself.
  12. Hope you like them. - These are older ones, tied earlier.
  13. I so hope your wives aren't reading this forum
  14. Thanks! Nah, not a show off, merely practising the technique via rinse & repeat -method.. Would be awesome to fish and tie with you guys
