  1. Thanks for the kind words, these Ray Bergman classics are really inspiring and beautiful flies.
  2. Ok, the ones with inserts can be PIA to thread. I'd use some good, long wire threader with those if the sucking method does not work well.
  3. Plapla & riffle, you better hold your rod tight while fishing with those
  4. Gorgeous stuff! Kimo Thanks! Color scheme got my eye, the person who originated this pattern surely had an eye for early season flies.
  5. LOL Mike I think I love you lol ... Did you see those Chippendale shots???? Oh, my sense of humor ... you love my sense of humor!!! Darned, my vacation pictures ended into some chipmunk site, I envy you.
  6. Maybe the last add to January flies.. I actually saw a dream and a fly like this, I had to tie it
  7. Reminds me of one aduld joke where guy fell and accidentally inserted his thing into some else's wife.
  8. One example of many, how to prevent hotlinking: http://www.htaccesstools.com/hotlink-protection/
  9. Any pliers I have nearby, also using vise jaws time to time..
  10. Have you ever seen a working threader..
  11. After Marc Petitjean Master Vise the JVise is a huge beast. Really, it is big and massive compared to MP product. Yes, there is a "bump" in rotation and not being an engineer I'd say it's due the mass of the goose neck and jaws. -Did I say this is a big vise? How much the bump annoys me, well, tbh, not at all. MP Vise is better in this point, but the most important thing to me, the holding power of the jaws...thats lovely. I seldom use the whole rotation circle, usually just the 90 degree turn in both directions. When I have lacquered the head, I often rotate the head though. For me this is the best vise yet, but I really recommend trying before buying anything. What floats your boat, take that.
  12. My favorites are: Tiemco ceramic, Rite (any of those) and Stonfo Elite. I have Marc Petitjean bobbin but I don't like it too much, thread is very easy to insert - thats why I still have it
  13. Ok, now, I was afraid tying this fly..too sentimental, too much history behind etc. I think it came out pretty well? Jock Scott - #8, trout version
  14. Thanks, but I can see the side hidden to you
  15. Tried to tie this UK based Silver Doctor variant a couple'o times, some ended trash bin, some were just cursed upon.. Today I made one almost successfull try and decided to make one in salmon size too. Step by step they come, step by step..
  16. http://www.letraset.com/products/20-Green/ ProMarker is what I use.
  17. Wow, I really like those flies!
  18. Thanks! Yeah, there's goose underwing and brown grizzly hen feather on top of it. I wanted to have some barring and that soft hen feather was a quick solution.
  19. Tried to mimic little perch and use modest attractors in the same pattern
