  1. I received the box yesterday. Good looking set of flies. I'll add my contribution and drop the box off at the Post Office in the morning. Thanks everyone.

  4. Have all the flies arrived? This has been a fun swap; looking forward to seeing what you all have done with biots.
  5. Rick, When will this swap begin? We haven't heard from you in a while ..... is everything ok?
  6. Mine are finished and dropped off at the PO today. This has the promise of being a fantastic swap.
  7. Google "shad fly" and you should find plenty of patterns.
  8. I vote "no" as well. There will be more swaps in the future of this nature. I think a person ought to have more than one post before joining a swap. Nothing personal aimed at the person who signed up for the swap, it's just my opinion and thoughts. I would feel this way about anyone.
  9. I'll play again. I'm in if there's room.
  10. Received my flies today. Nice looking set of nymphs; thanks everyone. Also, thanks to Sherri for hositng.
  11. The mystery box was dropped off at the PO today at 12:20. Thanks everyone.

  13. The box arrived yesterday. I've made my selections and added some more flies to the box. Flies will be in tomorrow's mail. Thanks everyone, and thanks Pat for keeping it going. Kerusso
  14. Glad they arrived Sherri; sorry they were late.
  15. Yeeeehaaaaaw. Can't wait! Thanks Pat, and thanks to everyone who is participating. When I get the box I'll aim for a fast turn-around in getting it back in the rotation. Kerusso
  16. I'll join with a cdc sulphur comparadun if there's room.
  17. Mine are in the mail. Thanks for hosting SherriB.
  18. You da' man, Charlie. Have fun fishing, and God bless you all.
  19. I'll play. Not sure what I'll tie yet ... probably a copperhead.
  20. I echo a warm welcome back to Rick and I'm glad things are on the up and up for him. I'm looking forward to going through the swap box again. Hopefully, it is en route. Can't wait for the third cycle to begin.
  21. A quick word on the Saber hooks ...... I used some last weekend and I was using some small midges tied on a scud hook. I had problems hooking fish because it appears the gape is too narrow. I switched to another hook style and never had a problem after that. I missed 11 fish until I changed. I stuck every fish after that. Just my .02.
  22. I use the lemon flank for alot of my nymph patterns; tails, legs, and wingcases. Killer feather!
  23. Brent ...... the real meal nymph looks ..... awesome. Good tie!
  24. I'll play; a size 22 biot bodied bead head midge ( black or gray .. I'm undecided) will be my submission. If a midge pattern is not preferred please let me know and I'll tie something else.
  25. The Dai-Riki 135 can be compared to the Daiichi 1150, if I'm not mistaken. It is a wonderful hook, in my opinion. I would back away from bending hooks too much, especially with the Dai-Riki's. I've heard they have a tendency to break easily after bending them. Not my experience, but I have heard it mentioned several times.
