  1. A couple Swingin D's version 2.0 in my favorite color.
  2. My first attempt at a crawfish...
  3. Its been forever since I posted anything.... I was bored yesterday while i was avoiding the heat.
  4. Thanks everyone. Consignment doesn't sound like the path for me.
  5. I was approached by a fly shop to sell fly's on consignment. Anyone have experience doing this? I have always just wholesaled them for store credit. Thanks
  6. MFC Widows Web. I do not use a lot of hair anymore besides wulff style flies.
  7. I personally like the look of a more sparsely tied hackle for any fly parachute or standard. 2-3 turns seems to work for me.
  8. I had an accident and apparently some of my marabou got wet and the color bled onto my grizzly micro barb saddle that I've been picking at for 10 years or so. I've been looking for a replacement as my now tie-dyed saddle doesn't make the prettiest dry flies anymore. In the past month or so I've looked everywhere and I cant seem to find one. This one was the perfect mix of 12-16's for me. anyone out there ever have any luck getting one recently?
  9. Just a simple blue and black steelhead fly. It fishes very well for me.
  10. Honolulu Blue and Silver! Go Lions!
  11. I don't rib mine either. With modern saddle hackles there's no real advantage to reverse wrap the hackle and rib. Probably back when Al Troth originally tied them he needed to as the hackle was much more tapered and a lower quality. Most people I see tie the wing to heavy. They look better with less hair in my opinion and the fish don't seem to care.
  12. Have you considered Echo? I have one of their switch rods. Nice stick
  13. Hello I'm new here. I'm originally from western Michigan but now live in the Denver Colorado area. I've been tying since I was 12 or so (27 now). Anywho hello.
