  11. trying something new. Thursday I will be headed to the driftless with my mentor Scott and I'm going to bring 2 gopros. I have my 7 white on my chest and my 3 on my net. It is secured to my net with a velcro mount and then zip tied to the front to keep it from slipping. The one on my vest is secured with a clip mount right at the neck of my vest. I have a power bank on the inside pocket of my vest for the 7.

  14. Debating painting the head black. Might make the post silver though!
  15. I use my old dyna kingfisher. Only use it for bigger stuff since getting my rotary vise. I removed the head and my dad welded a bolt to the end that fit in the base. Works much better this way. Dyna kind jams are awsome for big stuff!
  16. 8 inch articulated pike fly. Rear hook: (back to front) Tinsel, Uv Flashabou, Small strip of craft stuff, Black bucktail stacks, Olive Saddle hackle. Front hook: Black bucktail, More tinsel, More bucktail, Touch of red bucktail, and eyes i found at Fleet Farm. These swim really nice and ill be trying them out today. Criticism is welcome.
  17. I have other bobbins. I really liked this one cause I hardly ever broke thread with it. Might give something like this a try
  18. Today is a sad day :*( i sat down at my bench to tie a few articulated like flies, I started and about halfway through I pulled down to hard on the thread and snapped my Rite bobbin. Won't be buying another one and will be looking for a return. Only a few months of use and In my mind I didnt do anything to misuse/mistreat it.
  19. I know a guy who works for frosty fly and has a discount code if anyone is buying from there.
