  1. Hello, I’m getting back into fly tying. Thinking of going simple this time with my vise. Has anyone used the Griffin Montana Pro?
  2. Hello all, I’m curious about which material you prefer when tying finesse gamechangers and mini-finesse gamechangers, gamechanger chenille or finesse gamechanger chenille?
  3. Hello all, In my quest for a new vise I was thinking about saving some money on a pedestal and use my old peak pedestal and simply buy a Regal Vise and stem. My pedestal does not have the Peak riser. The Regal short stem is 6.5” which seems to close the table. The long stem is 10.5”. What’s your thoughts? Anyone use a long stem on a pedestal?
  4. Hello all, I am interested in a Renzetti Saltwater Traveler for tying smallmouth and Pike flies. Should the aluminum parts hold up over the years or should I look at the stainless steel presentation 4000 to hold up better over time? Anyone who has experience with either I’d appreciate your insight.
  5. Thank you for your responses. I think I’m going to take the plunge!
  6. Hello all, Form those of you who have used Regal Vises I was curious if you think the shank jaws are a necessity to tie gamechanger style flies with articulated shanks? I’m thinking of getting a Regal but was wondering if the regular jaws would be adequate for the job. Thank you for your time,
  7. Thank you! I feel better going forward. Now I just have to choose between the Trekker and x-1 also might think about the Supreme.
  8. Hello all, I am thinking about purchasing a Dyna-King X-1 or Trekker.I plan on tying mostly Smallmouth flies (streamers, bass bugs, Gamechangers) in sizes 10 to 1/0. For those who have Dyna-King Vises are there any pros and cons for tying these sizes or style flies with the Dyna-King jaws?
