I always loved fly fishing but, it was always for smallmouth bass in my local river growing up. Now, trout on the fly year around is my choice. The different small creeks and scenery. I now live just north and east of you - just a stone's throw from The Great New York State Fairgrounds and was born in Cortland just east of you. Had an aunt who taught down in the Corning area many years ago. You'll find that this site is loaded with some fine, experienced tyers, fishers, rod builders and that they are nice friendly and helpful people as well!
