Swamp Fly 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2022 I saw that on the local news, I feel bad for her and the family. The above linked article reported this happened at a golf and country club. "Golf Course Gators" are a problem. They have been completely desensitized to humans because they see people absolutely nonstop all day long. As Mike mentioned on another thread people get enamored by the "tame" gators and they become an attraction instead of being removed. <Sigh> Flailing around in the water is like ringing a dinner bell. If I find myself in a situation where I have to actually swim in "the wild" down here I will only use a breast stroke or side crawl not a noisy overhand stroke. caloosa bug 0 Report post Posted July 17, 2022 https://youtu.be/SijwWTuJoBU Discovery Channel Something Bit Me.Season 1 E7. For full episode. This happened in my hometown in the same spot I learned to swim and ski. Situation and number of 🐊 was a lot different then. A boat running nearby as opposed to lone swimmers swimming across the river, sure ups the chances of getting bit too.
