MuskyFlyGuy 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2022 I was trying to delete a double post by Troutguy and ended up deleting the whole thread. My first action as a moderator was a disaster. I am sorry to all those this has impacted. Now I am paranoid about any action I take. Tom ps. Troutguy had posted some beautiful work!

troutguy 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2022 I turn duck calls, pens, bowls and reel seats. I make knives and charcuterie boards. I donated a fly fishing pen to local TU for fundraiser. CFFC gave one of my fly fishing pens to the SEC FFI president. I love lathe work. Black smithing is cool.
troutguy 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2022 Bowl is peach. Charcuterie board is teak from old sailboat and knife is Australian burl.

All just "growing pains" no worries. BTW great work to all pics above...but troutguy, for some reason I am really digging that knife ion the last/above pic. I like both the blade and the wood/handle a lot.

essequamvideri 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2023 This was the last Christmas gift I completed. A young man, dating my daughter, is into bartending. This is a single Steward with different scales. Michael
essequamvideri 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2023 Was asked to duplicate an antique ravioli rolling pin from Italy. As near as we could figure, using family history, it must be better than 100yrs. I was invited to their family “Ravioli Day”. We made more than 2000 ravioli that day. Epic day meeting new people. The family recipe they used was dated 1948. It tastes awesome. The finished Ravpin I made is 23” wide. There are 15 divisions wide and 6 per revolution. It has the potential of making 90 per revolution. essequamvideri 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2023 Thank you very much MuskyFlyGuy. I do appreciate your kind words. My Daughter and I have a small woodworking business as a side gig. I never imagined I would have this much fun or pride being able to work through creative ideas and figuring out the building process with her. Truly enjoying watching her stretching and her pushing me. Cheers, Michael
