Mark -

We were away for a few days and I just read about your return home and that all went well with the heart repairs!!

Like I told you before...follow doctor's orders and take care of yourself. You know I am pulling for you my friend!!!

I'll be in touch.

Well, I have enough Adams Drys and have started on some moose hair mosquitoes. I'm making them with fine synthetic dunn dubbing for a smoother body instead of musk rat underfur. They are pretty much the same as the Adams dries except for the barred hair body and the fine dubbing.

I'll make 20 of them, in 14s and 16s.

Next, maybe some gnats.

Hi Mark.

Glad to hear that you're up and about. Just go at it easy at first.

Seeing your flies and how the Grayling go for them brought back many happy memories for me.

My first fish caught on a wet fly was a Grayling. I was sent to Fort Wainwright in October of 1968 and learned to tie when I was there during my first winter.

The next spring I had a chance to test out my creations which the Graylings approved of.

I've been hooked ever since.

Good looking flies.

Your doing great Mark, keep it up! This year has been a huge challenge for me as well, as I had major prostrate surgery. But I’m doing well and fishing and trying to tie some flies! Hang in there do what the doc says and keep us updated!
Mike.

mosquitoes, gnats are you going to add black flies?😄 very nice box!

Yes, then I'm thinking of tying No-see-ums, but the No-see-ums are very hard to see on the hook.😁😁

I tied some more flies for the grayling boxes. First I tied some two hair mosquitoes on 16's.

Then I tied some Parachute Black Gnats.

And some Parachute Mydas flies of a couple versions. I'm tying them on 14's, 16's and maybe 18's.

This box is shaping up.
