vicrider 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2023 DarrellP, stick in this one. I stayed with you for the extra one. I don't know about most people but I always tie about 14, maybe 15 every time anyway. That way I can toss the ones that just didn't come out right and send what worked the best, even thought they are not usually that good either but better than the throwaways. 12 is just an arbritary number that has worked well on here for a long time. I know someone a few years back did a swap with 17 of us in it and that was just too many. I tend to tie in small batches on any swap anyway before I get a bug to tie something totally off the wall. Right now I'm only at 7 for the nymph swap. Did 3, next night I did 4, and may get in to do a couple more tonight. I'm sure I will also have to play with my own Rocky and Bullwinkle tie and see if I think it'll work for the eye and for the fish. Squeezy 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2023 Hopefully get out with my son tomorrow morning and harvest a couple squirrels for this tie. It’d be really neat to use one we took. Learning new things!
