mvendon 0 Report post Posted February 4 TROUT PERCH STREAMER Hook: Mustad 38941 #6 Head: Tan Tail: Small bunch of blue dun hackle slightly larger than the hook gape Body: White floss slightly tapered, ribbed with medium flat silver tinsel Throat: Same as tail and about the same length Wing: A small bunch of summer sable tail hair, extending to the end of the tail. Over this are two pink ostrich of the same length. On each side of the hair and ostrich is a chinchilla saddle hackle the same length. Thank you niveker 😄 The hardest part for me with this one was tying in the feathers on each side of the fur and ostrich barbs. You had to tie them in one at a time and try to get them to stay vertical and even with each other after wrapping the thread to tighten down.
