Czob 0 Report post Posted February 12 Has anyone ever used Elmer's, Goes on Purple, Dries Clear glue sticks? The wife picked Up a couple of the bigger lip gloss style tubes, for $.25 ea.. It pretty sticky as dubbin wax. I just am not sure how well it will work for the long haul? Any input would be great!

Jaydub 0 Report post Posted February 12 I haven't used the purple, but I have used the regular glue sticks for touch dubbing. It works pretty well in that application.
Czob 0 Report post Posted February 16 Well, I have been using it. Works good! But I haven't fished any flies that I have used it on to see if of it's durability?
Jaydub 0 Report post Posted February 17 I doubt it will help durability, but I often find that dubbed bodies work better after being roughed up anyway.
