Trout fishing in Connecticut

Im just curious if there is any spots in connecticut worth while trout fishing....I got some leave comin up within the next two weeks and was tryin to take a little trip during it. Just thinkin since it wasnt too far it might be worth while but i didnt know any streams or rivers in the area. If ya know some that arent top secret, id appreciate it if youd disclose them to me, Thanks!

Do a google search on the Farmington river. I won't tell you where to fish, but the river is no big secret. If it's closer, try the Housatonic.

i wouldn't bother fishing trout on the housy now i'm sure the water is very warm but smallies should be kicking some ass

 

the farmington is a little better thn an hour east ofthe housy but it is a tailwater so water temp is very consisten with lots of trout
