MfishP 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2023 Looking at some of my fly fishing gear-I found a blue silicone piece called the fly trap. It clamps on the rod and holds the fly in place when not in use. The label say FlyTrap and from I assume Flyfishing/ adventures and a phone number. Search results show how to trap flies in the home and see no images. Anyone? I get on some fly fishing dealers and cannot find anything. Anyone? MfishP 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2023 Ok flytire search on google and see what comes up. They think it is something for your house. I most likely got it at The Fly Shop in California, Kaufmans Streamborn (long out of business) or Madison River fly company.

MfishP 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2023 Will post a photo-Years ago I had a magnetic rod holder also-Might be at my Moms house where my Scott rod is. That was made by Wapsi-I see they have that at Cabelas. The fly trap I have is way smaller.
