Hooks - TMC7999 or DA12441 or equivalent

Thread - Black

Tip - Flat silver tinsel

Tail - Golden pheasant crest feather

Body - Black floss

Hackle - Cream hackle barbs tied in at the throat

Wing - Black moose hair tied thick and flared over the body

Ches Traverse of Corner Brook, Newfoundland, originated this pattern in 1970.

Thorax - Dubbed with hare's mask fur

Hackle - Natural black hen hackle tied on as collar. Hackle should reach hook bend

Tail - Blue dun hackle barbs

Body - Dubbed with muskrat fur

Hackle - Brown tied on as a collar and tied back and down

Wings - Mottled brown turkey quill sections tied on edge over the body

Slow sinking spiders, Black and Pink are open cell foam for covering wounds, green is wrap after donating blood. They gave me 6 inches when my wife was doing this. 

Tails are various materials.

Bead Head Red Tag

simple time-honored pattern with a bead head that brookies seem to love

hook- mustad 3906B with silver bead, thread - red, tail- red wool tag, body- peacock herl with copper wire rib, ginger hackle collar

Ants from shelf liner material with a parachute hackle. Black and tan have the sides trimmed some.

Parachute hackle works better for me on the ponds I fish.

hook- Mustad 94840 #12, thread- black, body- black foam shelf liner folded double for abdomen and thorax pulled apart at head to form antenna, legs- black hackle legs under thorax, wing / sighter- orange CDC puff
