Guest Report post Posted August 12, 2003 When tying Trude style wings, or any pattern that calls for squirrel or similar hair wings, try this neat little tip. After tying in the wing, squeeze the base of the wing with a pair of small forceps or tweezers before the cement sets. This will flare or fan the wing nicely and will greatly increase its flotation and present a more natural presentation.
