Alex C. 0 Report post Posted July 15, 2006 I was wondering, what are damselflies doing when I see them flying, one right behind another with it's head attatched to the other's rear end?

Taxon 0 Report post Posted July 15, 2006 I was wondering, what are damselflies doing when I see them flying, one right behind another with it's head attatched to the other's rear end? OLB- Following copulation, the male damselfly will often fly in tandem with the female for an extended period of time. Some suggest this behavior is designed to prevent the female from mating with another male.
