For me they have a lovely pastel colouration which is really stunning.

Great fly - that's returning in style!!!

 

I like the separation of tail and wing tip. If you' like 3mm more wing I'd say 1-1.5 would be the max - i like that gap - as Dave Carne says it seems to give the fly forward momentum.

 

Body is spectacular, colors great, just all around fine job.

 

By the way, what are the tail veilings and the shoulder/side underneath the JC?

Brookie...Under the JC is a wee feather from a relatively inexpensive sweetheart of a bird (lotsa feather yield) called a Long tailed Broadbill (from John Mc) and underneath that is some Satyr Trag.

 

Looking back, as I do, (I guess we all do)... instead of taking some pleasure ofrom my peers recognition, my dumb a** is focusing on the Jungle Cock nail which got bumped upward and is out of alignment. You'd think I'd have other things to focus on eh?
