Louis 0 Report post Posted June 4, 2007 Although I understand from a friend that June releases have cooled the West Branch down, officials do not appear to be working with the Friends of the Upper Delaware group to keep the trout healthy and unstressed, and the main stem fishable during major hatch times. See http://outdoorsbest.zeroforum.com/zerothread?id=623863 Please consider calling if you fish this river or if you care about helping preserve the fishery for others. ron P. 0 Report post Posted June 4, 2007 Thanks for this post. The Delaware River is the gem of the mid-Atlantic states, yet the corporate puppet windbags holding elected office along its banks do all they can to exploit and sour this waterway with their feel-good "lotsa jobs" rhetoric and schemes, despite the river's critically important role both in American history and as a fishery.
