Micke 0 Report post Posted July 5, 2007 Hi! What you think about my new GPXF5F fly line I just buy! Shall it look like this?
Teioneon 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2007 Overall, I think it looks pretty good. If you are concerned about some of the bends in it, just apply some tension to help straighten them out. A few good fish would be the first thing I'd try to use. Good luck and tight lines!
madkasel 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2007 Looks a little kinked up, but you sure as hell got a lot of it out there! Does look unusual.
Micke 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2007 I have send the line back to SA3M now! to get a new one! the line will not stretch out in the cast.
Steeldrifter 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2007 I would say judgeing by the amount of line out that it just has a bit of memory because alot of that line stays on the reel most of the time. When you make a cast as far as the one in the pic your seeing line that dosent even come off the reel 75% of the time so it's gonna have a bit of memory from the spool. I've never had a problem with any of the GPX lines myself.
