Graham 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2007 Hey Frogfish, I was going to say, instead of tweaking the ISO, it would be best to wait until the sun angle and light is better. But I know how that goes. Many of my moving water shots done in the Adirondacks were done when the light was harsh as well as too much wind blurring leaves in the background. But it was a choice of either shoot away and have fun now, because I need to be out of here before prime conditions happen.
Graham 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2007 f/16, 1/2 second f/16, 1.5 seconds f/16, 2 seconds f/16, 2.5 seconds This shot was the taken just over a year ago, and is probably the first landscape photo I took with my camera out of Auto mode. I wish I had moving water to practice on closer to home, things are pretty dry around here, about three inches of rain in the past 18 months.

Graham 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2007 Great image Mokai. I've never seen such clean lines from timed car lights before, and the reflection is killer. This is truly inspirational work, makes me want to start thinking about new photographic opportunities. Thanks for sharing. Graham

Ashby 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2007 Here are two shots I took this past Monday up at Downieville while fishing. They were all taken with my Fujifilm FinePix F30. I'm still trying to get the hang of not getting too much light into my photos when doing timed exposures. Let me know what you think. Ashby Exposure time - 1/13 sec Focal Length - 24mm F# - 4 ISO - 100 Exposure time - 1/4 sec Focal Length - 12mm F# - 8 ISO -
