elk hair caddis swap/ size 14 and under

Recommended Posts

I will tie a #18 black foam bodied caddis, unless you would rather have a different kind. This is my preferred pattern for local waters.

I sent my flies in on Monday the 5th, I went to the PO and bought 2 padded envelopes and stamps for both (one self addressed) the total came to $5.51. Is there a cheaper way to mail a tiny box of flys?

that's a little high,

I buy bulk envelopes from wall mart for 2 bucks for 20 (i think)

and postage should run $1.30 not much more and altoids boxes are light and strong........

thats what most tyers do :dunno:

So, I didn't need the padded envelopes? :wallbash: That will save me $2.50 next time. It will also save a little on the postage. I just used a Dai-Riki box to send the flies as you will see. Loved the swap. It really sat me down and made me focus on tying just one pattern. :P
