Catalpa_Joe 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2008 Last week while on vacation, I was working in my garage when I caught a movement outside. This monster was just passing thru I guess. He was about 14" front to back on the shell. He's still on the loose, no soup tonite.
Guest Report post Posted June 11, 2008 Oh man, I can't believe he just came walking past!! Funny! Though I am now drooling for turtle soup...
Catalpa_Joe 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2008 Apparently my house sets on some old turtle breeding grounds. Every year about this time we get numerous turtles burying eggs in the yard. Usually much smaller than this one but I have seen them bigger than this in my neighbors yard.

flytyinfreak 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2008 this sounds strange but I noticed a tire that was under inflated. gotta check that tire pressure! especially in the winter when the weather gets colder and the air in your tire contracts.
Catalpa_Joe 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2008 Thanks flytyinfreak, I got my winter air put in all four about a month ago so they won't freeze up. Gonna need it tonite, temps are headed to below zero.
