Quick question. Trying to use Flickr URL but I received an error in the picture upload. Dialogue box states the URL is an invalid time. Any suggestions?

No idea what "invalid time" means. Usually, the two main reason for a picture to not go through are,

1) file's too large. Resize your picture to less than 800x600 pixels.

2) connection isn't fast enough. File transfers will time out if it's taking to long to go through.

 

Again, connection issues or file sizes are the issues.

Gonna try to post 4 images of how to use postimage.org.   Free easy I got 970 or so picks.   Just copy paste the forum link once you get an album and upload pics    Oops they are not in order

Why not just add the image directly from your machine by clicking chose files in the bottom left of reply box? all those third party hosts will eventually do a photo bucket thing.

True.  But posting on other forums that don’t have this.    Plus not sure they want 971 photos posted here and having no useable access at any time.  For years had hunt101 and MyFishingPictures and they went belly up too.   Nature of the animal.

I had trouble last night embedding a picture into a post.  The progress circle just kept spinning.  I assume the problem was me.  Are there instructions?

From the clipboard first and that didn't work. So I placed it on my computer and tried to upload it.

I suppose it's okay to create a test post in the Beginner's Corner forum to see if I can figure it out.  Let me know if I shouldn't please.

do your testing right here in this thread

when you make a post you should see what is shown below

click on choose files and then click on your photo

it will look like this

now you can click on the submit reply button

I tried that last night and it didn't work.  Maybe some maintenance was in progress.  I'll try again.  Thanks!
