Hey yall. Heres some flies I have been tying lately. This was the last deer bug I trimmed with my scissors. Its blades from now on. A mosquito looking dry, killer crawk, and some minnows!

Claudia - I just checked out your website and I can't believe you have only been tying flies for a couple years!! Your "classic" salmon flies are incredible, plus you make hooks too!! You rock.

Thanks!!! Those are #6-9 that I have tied. I am putting the razor to the others and getting my hooks back! That EP is some awesome stuff. What I learned in my failed tries is not to use too much material because if you tie it in midway and fold it over it will double in thickness making your fly too thick. Also dont start your fibrers too far back on the hook. And comb the fibers ALOT, it gives them alot of fluff and allows you to trim more than you think making them look great in the water! I put wing n flash on the sides to cover up the thread and im using red thread so it looks like a red lipped mullet or shad. I cant wait to buy some more colors!

Its blood quill marabou that I palmered with a dub loop. Thanks! works good for bass and looks great wet.

Collar: Pine squirrel, dyed chestnut

Rib: Copper wire

Body: Seal's fur (or substitute), fiery brown, dark claret, black - mixed

Body hackle: Hen, badger - front half of body only

Wing: Muskrat, underfur and guard hair
