Rune Andre Stokkebekk 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2009 Right now it is all about midges. This is a emerger that i'm going to try in a few months. I think that the stretch tubing makes very nice shucks. Type 1: Hook: Tmc 2488 size 16 Thread: 12/0, black. Gills: White cdc, one feather tied in across and trimmed. Shuck: Stretch Tubing, micro squeezed with a hot plier. Back/loop: Nat. brown cdc. Legs: Dark dun deerhair. Body: Black Hare'e ice dub. A simpler version without deerhair legs and with a traditional cdc loop. A few fibers from the loop makes the legs here. Here are some pictures that i took a while ago.. Notice how the wings look as the fly are starting to pump them up. Yes, i have also some emergers with red/rusty cdc on top.
