Ice is almost gone on most Sierra lakes and reservoirs and my float tube is calling, so I thought I'd try to host my first swap. 999.gif

 

Tie a dozen of whatever is your favorite lake/reservoir pattern. Due date is Saturday May 30. 155fs505059.gif

What are we tying for? Warm water/coldwater or just whatever we use in still water??? Will the little foam bug pattern I tye for the panfish or trout work or would some kind of wooly bugger? I am interested just have a few questions before I committ

Im in :thumbsup: I will tye up one of my own foam bug patterns that I fish in the still water lakes in Ky. usually catch bass, panfish, and sometimes trout.

I'll try a fly I created for panfish. It's not one traditional pattern as far as I know, sort of a combination of things I put together for bluegill. But I know it works... caught half a dozen bluegill last night in my neighbors pond in about 30 minutes with one. It's closest to a wooly bugger with a #12 scud hook, but I like to call it Colonel Mel's Big Bad Bluegill Bug!
