Bloody Deciever

This is a fly I sort of created for Smallmouth bass. This has probably been invented long before now, but it is a new fly to me. This is just one fish that I have caught on this fly. It is killer on the bass.

Thanks, they sink at a pretty good rate, especially when attatched to sink-tip line, which is what I usually use when I'm fishing these guys.

Originally, this style of fly was simply called a "hackle" fly....the design is simple, but deadly, although you have "classed" it up a little. Salmon, pike, and walleye also tend to smash red and white combinations. I would imagine the fresh chrome in your area would give a go as well.
