Guest Report post Posted October 21, 2003 Anybody ever use antron dubbing or any other synthetic dubbing? How does it compare ot using natural dubbing. I found a cube of 30 different colors of antron dubbing for $12 and am considering buying it if it compares well to natural dubbing. Thanks for the help! Guest Report post Posted October 21, 2003 $12 is a good deal, Smallie. Hunter's Angling Supply sells a 24 color cube for $20. I've never used it, but at $0.40 per color, how can you go wrong?
Guest Report post Posted October 21, 2003 I've used antron dubbings, it's OK stuff. I prefer natural dubbings, but like mixing a little antron into the natural materials for some extra sparkle. I think it's really just a matter of personal choice. Since it sounds like you're getting a great deal then go for it. You won't know if you like it until you try it. Guest Report post Posted October 22, 2003 Will, I have used it on Bonefish flys... good in saltwater and good for Shrimp and crab flies. Holds up well in those conditions..of salt that is.
