David Legg 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2010 I will fish them unweighted on still waters, let them sink slowly and twitch them every several seconds. Last time I had one on unweighted (Chartreuse) I had a rainbow of only about 10 inches hit it so hard as it ran to my left, the rod nearly twisted out of my hand! Any other setting, weighted. David Legg 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2010 depends on the conditions and what the fish are keying on. if I need weight I use Trinas Sculpin Heads from Montana Fly http://www.castersflyshop.com/onlineflysho...roducts_id=1233 I've seen those heads showing up here and there. What has been your experience fishing on them compared to more conventional ties? Any marked difference?
