Vises: Lets See Yours

I absolutely love looking at pictures of vises. Its my big...uh...vise.

So lets see yours. We all hear the talk of how we love our vises...so lets see some pictures of them.

Since you showed yours, here's mine:

OK. So I thought I would shoot for "worst vise", but that last one from '59 is really something - I'm not even sure what I'm looking at there.... ;)

I got this early 90's for a school class - I think I paid $16, and it was worth every penny!

The jaws started to wear out last year, so I put the handle on the other side, and spun the bottom side of the jaws to the top. I should get another decade or so out of this baby now....

Actually I took this shot in the Catskill Fly Fishing Museum. Quite a collection huh? Actually I have the lower row one shaped like a "7" and a Renzetti Traveler. The older one beats the Renzetti any day.

Smallie I went to the museum in August. I had not been in ten years probably. It is the Holy Grail of fly tying. They have everybody's set up there. You are able to see how they set up and tied (and drool) .
