That is especially true when you bring in a 14 or 15 lb. Bluefish on consecutive casts; then look up and down the beach to find you are alone! What a morning! Big Blues chasing mackerel right into the first wave at your feet. Casting 30 or 40 feet with the polaris, popping it once, and having three or four Alegator Blues bash it so hard it goes three feet in the air. The action only lasted about 15 minutes; but what a way to start the day. When it was over, I sat on the beach and watched a gorgeous sunrise; then headed back West to join the rest of America.
