Here's a dumb question from a noob. My Peacock quill is dark...I've not seen, or even knew I could get it light in color. Where did find the material?

I love the two tone it has.

Searching for the right color peacock quills can be a pain - they come in ALL shapes, sizes and colors (just like us!)

But I do believe Bill Purdy (the tier) marked his stripped quills with very light beige, spirit based artists marker to tone in to the overall coloration of the fly.
