john adams 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2010 A new addition to the fly pattern database has been submitted by john adams: Puff Midge
Firetiger 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2010 The puff is a nice idea, but what I really like is the combination of a black body and irridescent sheen - the trout must follow this fly to the bankside and out of the water, it just looks sooo hot! Cheers! J.

rockworm 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2010 John This is a very effective-looking fly! I'm tying some up tonight (if my kids sleep well enough.) But I am confused: you say this imitates anchovies???
john adams 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2010 Sorry - I will carefully clicking. Your confusion is understandable because it not is anchovy - this is midge emerger .
