Intruder

This is my first post so I hope I upload these right.

 

Here are a few intruders I tied over the weekend. Critiques are welcome....

Very good fly I want itself to try to knit given fly where it is possible to look at instructions???

it looks like you are missing a long flowing material that will give movement (ostrich, rhea, saddle hackle... something)

the third on (black over blue) has the right idea

your spun loops (looks like Arctic fox of finn racoon) are there just for loft... not bulk, I''d say you could loose half of it

you want a large hollow fly with as little material as possible

 

 

they will catch fish... but as "intruders"/intruder=styled flies loose some of the bulk

you are creating a large profile in the vise, but the materials and constuction won't give the movement in the water

fill a bowl with water and tie some leader to the fly and move it around... great way to test the fish-ability

Very nice,,, I love the color choice as all are my favorite steelie colors
